When you delete your account, all your data will be permanently removed:

✓ Your progress and completed lessons
✓ Your XP, Streak, and achievements
✓ Your personal information and email
✓ All your saved data across all languages

🔒 Your privacy is protected
We require proof of ownership before deleting any account. This ensures that only you can request the deletion of your account.

How to request account deletion

Log into your CodeQuest account

Make sure you are logged into the account you want to delete.

Take screenshots as proof

Take clear screenshots showing:

Your profile page with your username visible
Your progress/stats page
Your settings page showing your email

Send an email to:

Copy and fill in the template below:

Subject: ACCOUNT DELETION REQUEST - [YOUR_USERNAME]

Body:

To the CodeQuest Team,

I am requesting the permanent deletion of my CodeQuest account.

Account Information:
• Username: [YOUR_USERNAME]
• Email: [YOUR_EMAIL]
• Date of registration (approx.): [DD/MM/YYYY]

Reason for deletion (optional):
[Tell us why you're leaving - your feedback helps us improve]

Confirmation:
I understand that this action is irreversible and all my data, including:
- Lesson progress
- XP and Streak
- Achievements
- Personal information

will be permanently deleted from CodeQuest servers.

⚠️ Requests without screenshots will be rejected for security reasons.

⏱️ What happens after you send the email?

1. We will verify your identity using the screenshots (1-2 business days)
2. You will receive a confirmation email
3. Your account will be scheduled for deletion
4. All data will be permanently removed within 7 days
5. You will receive a final confirmation when deletion is complete
